Hello Everyone:)

Tuesdays have been 'Bloggers Bodega' here at Capers of the Vintage Vixens where on-line websites, boutiques and etsys could advertise here for FREE . Shoppers were able to find the best of the best sites. It was a win/win for everyone. Everything all in one spot. Advertising can be expensive. And even if you do pay for it, you were also able to advertise here for free. Every little bit helps, right:)?I thought is was a great idea and really fun too.

Now linkytools.com wants to charge for it:( We were not notified of this. If we had been we would have  done something before today.

Here are my questions for you:
Did you get any more traffic from it? (I know we have only been doing this for a couple of weeks;)

Did you post it on your blog on Tuesdays? This way everyone benefits, all over the world.

Did you grab our Bloggers' Bodega button? This invites everyone to join and/or shop.

Do you think we should continue to do it?????

If you have answered YES, I will pay for a year and see how it goes from there. PLEASE give me your input as I wanted this to benefit everyone.

THE WEEKEND

Hi Everyone:)

 How was your weekend? Great I hope. Don and I did a  little antiquing and football watching:) How about you? I wanted to show you what I found at one of the antique shops we went to.

First I need to appoligize for the photos being turned sideways. I even had my computer guru Nicole help me and we just can't get them to be upright. Maybe it's blogger? So you will need to get into an unnatural position to see the pretty pics but I assure you it will be worth it because this is really a great piece.

I have always wanted one of these little wallpapered covered drawer cabinets but have never found one in good condition. Well, that all changed yesterday. I went into a vintage clothing booth and tucked under some dresses was this beauty:) As soon as I saw it I quickly grabbed it (as if everyone wanted it:) and checked it out. PERFECT!!!

 All of the drawers were in perfect condition. They had all of the pretty flower knobs and the wallpaper was just right. It was meant to be mine. I am going to keep some of my scarves and gloves in it.

We also spent some time with these little cuties. Stella loves her baby sister Fibi. Notice the jewelry:) lol Girly girls, I love it:)

Ashleigh's Secret Garden

This was the first shoot I'd ever done in my whole life. Ashleigh is my ideal model for everything and anything. I was itching to get started so I didn't exactly plan this shoot very well. No stories or inspiration behind these photos. All I really wanted was sun flare (which I got) so most of the time spent chasing the sun :)














 *I like to think these three photos fit together perfectly, they show Ashleigh's trail of thought in a way... use your imagination 








*I took soo many photos on this day that I've made like little sets of the photos that go together. This is the third set.

*These photos were taken in Lisa's awesome backyard for our Either/or clothing shoot. Despite the hot weather and my mild complaining of the stickiness I enjoyed taking the photos of Lisa and Ashleigh. I wish I could upload more but I have to wait for them to go up officially on Either/or.
