Make ups? Shoes? Bags? Accessories? These are all me! But what makes it more interesting is that I think I've found the little Dahlj in the person of my cute niece (who's liek my very own kid) named Clesh. My gaaad, she really wants to be me and have already "sealed" the deal with me to give her all my shoes when she grows up. Cute!
Anyway, here are some of the photos I've snagged when I went home last weekend. I am surprised to see her wearing my things that I can't help but held my phone and get her photo. And yes, she poses like a pro!
She is only three but she can already confidently walk in my sky high heels, can model my accessories, can apply and wear my make up. She is born to be kikay, that I am sure of. LOL.

Apologies
I always have this love-hate relationship with blogging. One moment I'm into it, and the next thing I know, I am detaching myself to scribbling. The last few weeks were helluva ones in the office with all sorts of meetings, presentations, documentations, decision-makings, etc. etc. I am damn tired when I reach home and the least that I want to do is bury myself again for an hour or two in front of my laptop and blog. Yes, blogging requires thinking, and thinking demands time, and time was scarce for me in the past weeks.
Maybe, this one also comes with the fact that I do write to relax myself. I don't use this as a medium to make a business so I don't give myself that extra stress just to produce a piece. But on the other side of it, I know that there are people who look into what I have put in here (thanks to statcounter!) and the sweet messages I got from my readers are all making me guilty. Believe me, I have a lot of things and discoveries to share and I am dying to relay them to you. Apologies, but I will make it to you this week. I have garnered my thoughts and insights to the different products I have tested used over the weeks. Everything is just in sitting in my head waiting to be doodled here. =)
Now, let me just wish you a blessed week ahead and may you enjoy whatever endeavors you may have!
All the best!

My Sunday Buddy
Sunday for me is a "me" time which I usually spend at the spa, grocery, movies (yes, movies!), and the likes. But this Sunday after doing my mani-pedi and jogging, I spent mostly of my night browsing through the pages of the magazines I bought while having some groceries. No good movies to watch so I decided that magazines could keep my company. :) I bought two, a Cosmopolitan and a Maven.
I find the little words all over the cover pretty interesting which I thought I could relate to. For the Maven magazine, I want to know Bea Alonzo's experiences on diet pills, the hot hair styles, and those trend alerts on satchels, pants, and SHOES! :) Cosmopolitan ignited my interest on certain topics such as corporate fashion finds, secrets to become the next big boss, and how to prep and look "hot" in 10 minutes. Surely, I was sold out to the these ideas. :)
My boyfriend gave me an "S" shaped lips upon seeing my purchases as he has always been an anti-magazine dude. He was like, "why didn't you just buy a book to read?". And I was like, "I don't want to use my brain for the moment!". Haha. Magazines for me are really for bored moments and this is actually the rarest times which I bought a copy.
But browsing through them is not bad at all. I found interesting articles which empower modern women and giving you handy tips for everyday busy lifestyle. No doubt there are countless of advertising pages and even subtle brand naming in between but there are helpful articles that actually give you that feeling of a support system. And as opposed to my old belief that magazines make you feel uglier, I find it more of a challenge to myself that, well, I can be that beautiful. Lol.
So anyhow, Toni and Bea made a good company to me and I enjoyed flipping through the pages of these glossy magazines. =)

Early Morning Random Thoughts
Im up at this wee hour in the morning. No, it is not because I am waiting for the eclipse but because this slimming pill I am taking now lets me jump off my bed from time to time. It does not only diminish my appetite but also grab a good sleep out in my system. It is not good, so I am not naming that pill, or any other "slimming" tablets.
Now I know that it is bad but why do I still take it? I must admit, I am one hell of an undisciplined woman when it comes to eating healthy foods and injecting regular excercise in my routine. The effect is obvious - I've grown to be a whale and I want an express way to get out of the unflattering feeling of being "fat". It struck me one day when I was scouting for an office outfit in my forest-y cabinet and I realized that almost all of my pants are either losing the thread on the crotch or the zipper already retired from its functionality. It was a discouraging feeling day by day and I reached to a point where I was accepted the need to do something.
Hmmm... But that something turned out to be not the right choice. I mean, I know what I need is to shell out the excess fats through excercise or do away with sinful foods. But then again, I know I cannot do it. Pessimistic, I know. Well, the good thing is that I do take protein shakes in between meals instead of junk foods, eat a little instead of one magnanimous meal, and I drink lots and lots of water. =)
Yes, that pill and this screwed up sleeping habits. Meeting later at 9 AM so...

A Dilemma on Mani-Pedi
Painting my nails beautifully can be very addictive and not to mention expensive. Along with spa, my almost weekly manicure-pedicure session is one way that I relax myself especially if I go to high-end nail salons. I feel pampered with soft couch, comfortable pillows, and dedicated manicurist.
My addiction was heightened by the emergence (or at least my discovery) of high-end nail lacquer brands (see my choice of word, not nail polish. Lol!). I developed that sense of dependency to my well groomed and nicely painted nails just as how I feel powerful when I am in my sky-high heels. It is also a good conversation starter especially if you are with ladies who are on your same league of interests.
But, I do face the fact that it is becoming more and more expensive for me. I have two options that I alternately go to. One is going to these high end nail salons like CANS or Posh Nails, and the other is to grow my collection of the most sought-after brands. This is for the objective of at least slashing my expenses but still getting good nails. However, the question still remain, did I really get to save? This is the dilemma that I am facing now.
Going to the likes of CANS almost weekly would at least let me shed 500 php a week. Summing it up for a year, I know it is not practical. Then I ask myself, why do I go there in the first place? It is because of the ambiance, the feeling of being pampered, the thought of having a dedicated manicurist all by yourself, and of course the wide array of choices for nail lacquers. The last reason led me to my next alternative – buy and grow my own collection of these high end polishes.
I admit I adore O.P.I., China Glaze, and Orly brands. They just got the best shades, long staying power, and the overall “it” girl effect. Armed with a good accessory that goes with it, it makes your hand do the talking. They are good, if not the best ones. And the best ones normally equate themselves to be the most expensive in their herd. I’ve got some of them in my hands, along with the “lower” range brands like The Faceshop, Elianto, and Cutex. Upon calculating my expenses, I found out that well, I still get to spend like 500 php because of the purchase (if I buy the first three brands I mentioned). Others may argue that I could still use them repeatedly but hey, I am addicted to nail painting, remember? :p In simpler note, I don’t get to use a particular shade for more than three times. After all, it is the joy of getting your nails done – seeing different shades sitting on them!
On the mid-range polish, I am dissatisfied with the results which I will detail on my next blogs.
I could revert back to my old way of mani-pedi. Go to a not-so-sophisticated salon, get my nails done with a low-end nail polish brand. But, but… I love the nail lacquers! Agh, dilemma!
How about you? What are your related concerns? :D

Fat? So what!
I deal with weight issues since I first dealt with teenage life. It has been part of my system. I have the ability to gain and lose weight – easily. I can bloat or in an instant just like a balloon. Case in point:
Nah, spare me from telling you my diet schemeS. It will take me like forever to jot them down. In this piece, I want to lay down the “tricks” I have which make me feel a lot better when my torso is becoming like a cabinet and my clothes act like an aluminum foil wrapping an embutido. :p
So how I choose to be “sexy” when I’m not? Here!
