Services Review: Enza Nail Spa

It is my second time to step into the quaint place of Enza Nail Spa along Dela Rosa, Makati last Thursday. It is so near my office that a visit to them does not need any long walking. Entering their place gives you an aura of relaxation although it is too little with around seven spots for the clients and just beside it is the manicurists' area where they do their chit chat while waiting for other clients. Yes, it does diminish your relaxation time but at least they were all nice. =)

I was glad that they still accomodated me even though they have an upcoming client during that time. And since time is quite tight both for me and the manicurist, I opted to get only my pedicure. When I was looking for a good shade of Orly bottle and my manicurist was already removing my old polish, she was quick to suggest that I rest my nails first with polish because they are already becoming thinner and having some "white marks". I don't kow if she really meant it or maybe she just wanted to expedite our session as she is expecting their scheduled clients to arrive any moment. But I trusted her and know for a fact that I've been wearing nail polish on my feet for quite sometime now. I agree that my nails needed some breather. And yes, 60 php lesser for me! :D

If you read closely to their description of Nail Essential Package, it says:

Experience complete nail care that begins with a soothing soak to soften cuticles , followed by a cuticle cleaning, nail shaping, buffing, and finally topped with polish application. Of course , no Enza Nail Care Essential is ever complete without our to-crave-for massage.

Reading them would give you an instant feel of being pampered. But don't get too excited with it as it has nothing so special about it. The soak is the usual one for about a minute or two depending on your manicurist. I am actually surprised as to how quick they do the cleaning (as I have compared with CANS). Maybe my nails are not that dirty? Or my cuticle and ingrown are not that hard to take out? I don't know but I really just find it quick to finish. Buffing and that so called to-crave-for massage both took for less than a minute each. Honestly, there is really no special with the massage, if you ask me. Yes, I don't crave for it. :)

But nevertheless, the price is quite good for a high end nail salon. There are lots of Orly shades to choose from, and the people there are generally friendly. It gave justice to my feet, right?



A Superb Online Shopping Experience With The CareFreeShopper

If you have been following my blog, you'd see a lot of entries mentioning a multiply seller in the name of www.carefreeshopper.multiply.com. There are two major reasons why this site always made it on my articles: the store is selling well researched stuff at a very competitive price and the fierce lady behind the store is a dear friend. I used to have a hand on my stuff either through a friend who's coming here to Manila or personally getting them from Armie when I have the chance to go home to Bacolod.

It was last Wednesday when I caught the newly posted items CareFreeShopper has that brought me to another online shopping experience. I was simultaneously talking to another dear friend, Erma, and told her about the new stuff and that I know she's been yearning for that smokey eye kit from NYX. She got three items and I got my NYX make up box!

Saturday morning came in and I already have the package via Air 21. I was ecstatic knowing that I have a new toy after I lost some of my makeups last Friday. Oh well, I'll weave another entry for that "loss" when I am ready to finally let go of those (I am still in denial stage!).

I am not really a fan of online shopping because I'd rather get my stuff personally at the malls and see them tucked into paper bags. That way, I know they are very well protected. With online shopping, all you'll actually get are stuff stuff effortlessly thrown inside the courier's lousy plastic bag. BUT, with CareFreeShopper, my perception changed dramatically! Won't you do another purchase if you receive this very neat package?

 While other sellers would prefer not to spend on those boxes, Armie sheds of some pesos to get a decent box and place your stuff safely on it. Isn't that sweet?

Services Review: Asian Massage

Perhaps, massage is the most effective therapy for a tired body. Well, that's how my system works with massage - especially if I get to have a very good masseuse. I have tried a LOT of massage and spa centers and I have my share of hits and misses with these therapists.

The first time I availed of the services of Asian Massage along South Superhighway, I was torn between loving and hating them. The service was good enough but the place was just too crowded and noisy. The place put the term "relaxation" to a Hebrew language - it lost its existence. Oh well, that was the price oh getting an affordable massage.

I never went back to 24-hour massage parlors since I experienced the same scenario - too crowded, understandably because they need to cover their 24-hour operating expenses. But last Sunday night, my body aches as bad as my hair is when I don't put shampoo and conditioner on. I really have no choice but to call a home service massage and hopefully get rid of the pain and start a brand new week at the office. Asian Massage topped my google search so I got their services again.

The moment my masseuse landed her hand on my back, I know I have one of the best therapists in town! She is young and seem to be a trainee but when she started the massage, every muscle in my body was clamouring for her touch. As I said, I've had my share of hits but it was the first time that all of my body aches were gone right after the massage. I just love it!

Another thing that I like about their home service massage is because they have lots of branches so they would refer you to the nearest one if you happen to call the farther branch. In this way, you will both save time and you could have your massage in a relatively short waiting time.

And the most important thing is that, they are just for CLEAN massage. So no worries with all these hocus pocus regarding massage business. He he.
